Program Description / Overview
Surgical Nursing is a core professional course in the higher vocational nursing program and is offered in the third and fourth semesters of the second academic year. Within the clinical nursing job group, surgical nursing positions are mainly oriented toward surgical wards and operating rooms. The course requires nursing students to conduct nursing assessments for surgical patients based on the holistic nursing model, follow the nursing process to identify nursing diagnoses or problems, formulate nursing care plans, implement nursing interventions, and carry out nursing evaluations.
Together with Medical–Surgical Nursing, Obstetrics and Gynecological Nursing, and Pediatric Nursing, this course forms an essential part of the curriculum for developing clinical nursing competencies and plays an important supporting role in the nursing program curriculum system.
The course deeply explores and integrates ideological and moral education elements embedded in surgical clinical practice and classroom teaching, promoting the coordinated development of ideological education and professional education. While cultivating solid nursing knowledge and proficient nursing skills, students are guided to establish a “people-centered health” nursing philosophy and to develop professional qualities such as high medical ethics, dedication to work, self-discipline, teamwork, friendliness, and compassion. The classroom is thus transformed into a comprehensive educational platform for knowledge transmission, skill development, and moral cultivation, forming a holistic educational framework.
课程介绍
《外科护理》是高职护理专业的一门专业核心课程,开设于二年级第三、四学期。在临床护理岗位群中,外科护理岗位主要面向外科病房、手术室等,要求护生能依据整体护理模式按照护理程序对外科病人进行护理评估、提出护理诊断/问题、制定护理计划、实施护理措施和护理评价等。本课程与《内科护理》、《妇产科护理》、《儿科护理》等专业课一起构成培养临床护理能力的课程,在护理专业课程体系中起重要的支撑作用。深入挖掘提炼外科临床和课堂中所蕴含的思政要素和德育功能,实现思政教育与专业教育的协同推进,让学生在培养丰富的护理知识和精湛的护理技能的同时,树立“以人的健康为中心”的护理观念,培养学生“医德高尚、爱岗敬业、慎独自律、团队协作、友善关爱”的职业素养,让课堂真正成为“传道、授业、解惑”的育人阵地,构建全员、全过程、全方位育人的大思政工作格局。
