Medical–Surgical Nursing is a core professional course in the nursing program, aligned with clinical nursing, community nursing, and healthcare-related positions. Through this course, students will be able to master the etiology, clinical manifestations, treatment, and key nursing points of common internal medicine diseases. Students will also be able to provide nursing care and health guidance for patients during admission, hospitalization, and discharge.
At the same time, the course cultivates a patient-centered care philosophy, encouraging students to care for and respect patients, establish positive nurse–patient relationships, and enhance clinical thinking and comprehensive application abilities.
This course is jointly offered by Lincoln University College (LUC), Malaysia, and QingYuan Polytechnic, China.
Lincoln University College, established in 2002 and upgraded to university college status in 2011, is approved by the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia and accredited by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA). The institution emphasizes professional education, applied learning, and international academic collaboration.
QingYuan Polytechnic is a public higher vocational institution in China with strong capabilities in nursing, healthcare education, and applied professional training. Through this joint collaboration, the program integrates academic foundations with practical clinical competencies.

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
